1. About Us

helloWorld ("we", "us", "our") is a digital services provider based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, offering CV and resume writing, academic formatting and typing, LinkedIn profile optimization, personal portfolio websites, business website design and development, software development, business digital setup, and IT support.

2. Using Our Website

• You must provide accurate and current information when contacting us or placing an order.
• You agree not to use our website for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account or communication credentials shared with us during the course of your project.

3. Quotes, Orders & Pricing

• Package prices listed on our CV services and website services pages are indicative starting prices. Final pricing for custom projects is confirmed via WhatsApp or our contact form before work begins.
• Prices are listed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) unless stated otherwise and may change without prior notice.
• Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected service, which we may accept or decline, including in cases of suspected fraud or where we are unable to fulfil the request.
• Online payments are processed securely through our payment gateway partner, PayHere. We do not store your full card or bank account details.

4. Client Responsibilities

• You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and timely information, content, and feedback needed to deliver your CV, website, or other service.
• You confirm that any content, images, logos, or text you provide to us do not infringe on the intellectual property or rights of any third party, and you take responsibility for their accuracy and legality.
• Delivery timelines are estimates and depend on the timely receipt of information and feedback from you.

5. Revisions & Delivery

Each service package includes a set number of revisions as described at the time of quotation or on our pricing pages. Additional revisions beyond what is included may incur extra charges. Completed CVs, documents, and digital assets are delivered electronically; websites and software are delivered by publishing to an agreed hosting environment or handover of source files, as agreed with the client.

6. Intellectual Property

• Upon full and final payment, ownership of the final deliverable (CV document, website design, or software built specifically for you) transfers to you, excluding any third-party tools, libraries, stock assets, or licensed material used within it, which remain subject to their original licenses.
• All content on the helloWorld website, including text, graphics, logos, and design, is the property of helloWorld and may not be copied or reused without our written consent.
• Unless you request otherwise in writing, we may showcase completed projects in our portfolio and marketing materials.

7. Refunds & Cancellations

Refunds and cancellations are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy.

8. Third-Party Services

Where a project involves third-party services such as domain registration, hosting, or software licenses, those services are governed by the respective provider's own terms. We are not responsible for outages, price changes, or policy changes made by third-party providers.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, helloWorld shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services. We do not guarantee specific outcomes (such as job offers or website traffic) resulting from our services, as these depend on factors outside our control.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
